A Kane County Forest Preserve Commission has
formally approved a $10.5 million bid for
renovations to the Cougars' home -- Elfstrom
Stadium.
With the approval in place, work on the
Elfstrom Stadium project is expected to
begin this spring and be completed in time
for the start of the 2009 baseball season.
The renovation will add a second-level
seating area, a covered concourse, and
skybox suites, among other amenities, to the
ballpark.
